5D Recruitment is proud to be working in partnership with a leading bespoke machinery manufacturer. Their products are predominately used in the power generation automotive and construction sectors. Over the last five years their turnover has quadrupled.

Due to this exceptional growth there is a huge increase in parts coming through the Warehouse coupled with an opening of a second site there is now the need for a Warehouse Manager to come in with real autonomy to make the role their own.

What the role will involve for the Warehouse Manager:

• Day to day management of the Warehouse.
  
• Optimisation of the Warehouse layout.
  
• Stock control and accuracy.
  
• Responsible for ensuring accepted parts for fit for purpose.
  
• Manage the team. This includes day to day planning training and being a point of contact for any issues.
  
• Working to established KPIs. These are mainly around H&S quality and staffing efficiency.
  
• Have an eye for continuous improvement.
  

Requirements

What we are looking for in the Warehouse Manager:

• Experience working as a Warehouse Manager.
  
• Excel and MRP experience which would ideally be SAP.
  
• Experience managing small teams.
  
• Confident liaising with internal stakeholders suppliers and clients.
