Quality Assurance Tech

Conduct quality inspections of products to ensure they meet company standards and comply with FDA regulations.
Use various measuring tools such as micrometers calipers and coordinate measuring machines to perform accurate measurements.
Analyze data and test results to identify any deviations or nonconformities.
Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Perform quality audits to assess compliance with quality assurance procedures.
Maintain accurate documentation of inspection results and quality records.
Make proactive recommendations and offer/present solutions to the Operations department (production warehouse & field sales) to improve quality and work efficiency.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles and practices.

Familiarity with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) guidelines.

Proficiency in using measuring tools such as micrometers calipers and coordinate measuring machines.

Ability to analyze data and interpret test results.

Attention to detail and strong problemsolving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree of science preferably in Food Science or Food Technology or related field (Meat Science Biology Microbiology Food Microbiology etc.)
  

• HACCP Certification Allergen Control Training Food Recall Training and/or Preventive Controls Qualified Individual Certification is a plus.
  

• At least two (2) years of work experience as a quality assurance technician in fresh food or beverage.
  

• At least two (2) years of GFSI (BRC SQF and FS2000) experience.
  

• A good knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices and food safety.
