Overview:
The BAMS RMO on night shift plays a crucial role in providing medical care and managing emergencies during the night hours. They are responsible for ensuring the wellbeing of patients and providing continuous medical support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care to patients
- Conduct regular rounds to assess and monitor the condition of patients
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the attending physicians
- Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure smooth operations in the hospital
- Document patient information treatment plans and progress accurately
- Assist in minor procedures and surgeries as required
- Respond to calls from other departments and provide medical advice as needed
- Participate in continuous medical education and stay updated with latest medical practices
- Communicate effectively with patients families and other healthcare professionals
- Ensure compliance with medical protocols safety standards and ethical practices
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) degree
- Valid registration with the Medical Council
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a hospital setting
- Ability to work effectively during night shifts and handle medical emergencies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of emergency care and treatment protocols
- Capability to work well in a fastpaced and highpressure environment
- Sound knowledge of basic medical procedures and medication administration
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate medical records
