What You'll Do
- Manage and document user administration and governance for database access
- Address database performance issues, including long-running and blocking queries
- Handle database-related activities such as replication, archiving, backup/restore, encryption, and audit logs
- Collaborate with third-party service providers to enhance database performance and stability
- Work closely with the development team to troubleshoot production issues and provide guidance
- Ensure database security and compliance with security processes and guidelines
- Ensure all database changes are well-documented, tested, reviewed, and approved before production deployment
