Teamworx is working with a wellknown and successful Convenience Retail group to hire a new Store Manager to join our clients growing team in Co Carlow. Our client is searching for an experienced Retail Manager who can confidently step into the job providing leadership and support to a team of around 15 personnel in a convenience retail shop setting. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in managing people with retail front of house experience and proficiency in fresh management along with controlling retail overheads.

This is a successful business with now over 9 stores across several counties including large supermarket shops. Our client offers competitive benefits including a salary ranging from 40000 to 45000 DOE along with a bonus and additional perks to join their expanding team.

Responsibilities of the Store Manager:

• Ensure the efficient and smooth operation of the site
  
• Maintain store standards across all areas
  
• Identify areas for improvement and manage costs while preserving service quality and store standards
  
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as the HR head and resourcing team to attract and retain top talent while also coaching and developing your team
  
• Generate financial reports analyse store figures and report any discrepancies to the relevant department or regional team
  
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and food safety regulations conducting regular assessments and implementing action plans
  

Requirements for the Store Manager Role:

• Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse retail offering within a grocery retail environment
  
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team delegate tasks and drive results
  
• Working knowledge of Labor Law Health and Safety regulations HACCP and Consumer Law
