Job Title: Operations Manager

Location: Sparks Nevada

Salary Range: $80000 $110000 plus performance bonuses

Job Overview:We are seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to lead our warehouse operations in Sparks Nevada. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily activities ensuring operational excellence and driving continuous improvements. The ideal candidate will manage a diverse workforce enhance operational procedures and champion strategies that boost productivity and quality compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the warehouse operations optimizing the use of ERP systems for process streamlining inventory management and precise data handling.
  • Enhance throughput reduce lead times and guarantee ontime and accurate customer order fulfillment.
  • Implement LEAN continuous improvement techniques lead Kaizen events and cultivate a culture focused on efficiency and reducing wastage.
  • Lead develop and mentor a mixed team of hourly and salaried staff establishing clear goals promoting skill development and maintaining a positive workplace atmosphere.
  • Analyze performance metrics to identify patterns forecast potential challenges and proactively devise and apply necessary solutions.
  • Maintain high quality standards and compliance collaborating with the quality assurance team to swiftly resolve any concerns.
  • Uphold a safe work environment by strictly adhering to safety protocols and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Operations Management Business Administration Engineering or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in operations management within a manufacturing setting.
  • Expertise in ERP systems and a robust understanding of utilizing technology to bolster operational efficiency.
  • Proven track record in LEAN methodologies demonstrating successful implementations and significant outcomes.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience in supervising both hourly wages and salaried employees.
  • Excellent analytical strategic thinking and problemsolving abilities.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills with a knack for motivating staff and driving team success.
  • A keen eye for detail with a steadfast commitment to quality and safety standards.
