Head of Operations Learning Disabilities
Location: Harrow & Greater London
Reporting to: Operations Director
This is a fulltime position 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday
Salary: £52000 £55000 per annum

About the Role
As the Head of Operations Learning Disabilities you will play a crucial role in overseeing the effective management and delivery of care services within our homes. You will be responsible for ensuring that our residents receive highquality care and support while also maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and standards. This role requires strong leadership excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams external stakeholders and regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership and direction to ensure the delivery of outstanding care services across all homes.
Oversee the recruitment training and development of staff to maintain a skilled and motivated workforce.
Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided implementing improvements where necessary to enhance resident outcomes.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation regulations and quality standards including CQC requirements.
Manage budgets and resources effectively to achieve financial targets and maintain the sustainability of services.
Build and maintain positive relationships with residents families carers and external partners.
Act as a point of escalation for complex issues providing guidance and support to staff as needed.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and resident satisfaction.
Represent the company at meetings conferences and networking events to promote our services and build partnerships.


Requirements
Minimum of 3 years' experience working in a care home setting preferably with individuals with learning disabilities.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
Proven track record of effective resource management and budget control.
Sound knowledge of relevant legislation regulations and best practices in the care sector.
Experience in managing complex situations and resolving conflicts professionally.
Solid networking abilities with established connections in Harrow and Ealing councils.
A commitment to promoting the rights dignity and independence of individuals with disabilities.
Flexibility to travel to different locations within Greater London as required.
