**Job Title: Travel Consultant**
**Location:** Gurgaon/Pune
**Salary:** 69 LPA
**Job Description:**
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Travel Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of the travel industry particularly with expertise in GDS Sabre. As a Travel Consultant you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling fare rules ticketing exchanges refunds pricing and priceback processes.
**Responsibilities:**
1. Utilize GDS Sabre to research book and manage travel itineraries for clients.
2. Interpret and apply fare rules accurately to ensure compliance with airline regulations.
3. Process ticketing transactions efficiently and accurately including issuance reissuance and voiding of tickets.
4. Handle ticket exchanges modifications and cancellations promptly and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
5. Facilitate refund requests by communicating with airlines and processing refunds in a timely manner.
6. Provide expert guidance on pricing strategies including fare types discounts and promotions.
7. Conduct priceback analysis to ensure competitive pricing and maximize profitability.
8. Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries resolving issues and providing travel recommendations.
9. Stay updated on industry trends airline policies and changes in regulations related to fare rules ticketing and pricing.
10. Collaborate effectively with team members to optimize workflow and achieve departmental goals.
**Requirements:**
1. Bachelors degree in Hospitality Tourism Business or a related field.
2. Minimum 23 years of experience as a Travel Consultant or in a similar role.
3. Proficiency in using GDS Sabre for booking and managing travel reservations.
4. Strong understanding of fare rules ticketing processes exchanges refunds and pricing strategies.
5. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with a customercentric approach.
6. Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fastpaced environment.
7. Detailoriented with a high level of accuracy in handling transactions and documentation.
8. Problemsolving skills and the ability to resolve issues efficiently.
9. Flexibility to work in shifts and weekends as required.
10. Prior experience working in the travel industry in Gurgaon or Pune is preferred.
**Note:** Salary is negotiable based on the candidates experience and skills.
