Responsibilities

• Plan prepare and deliver science lessons that cater to the needs of diverse students.
• Create a stimulating and safe learning environment that encourages active participation and engagement.
• Assess and monitor students progress providing feedback and support as necessary.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement interdisciplinary projects and activities.
• Keep uptodate with the latest developments in the field of science education.
• Maintain accurate records of students attendance achievements and behaviour.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding students progress and any concerns.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Science Education or a related field.
• Teaching qualification or certification in Science Education.
• Proven experience as a Science Teacher preferably in a primary or secondary school setting.
• Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment methods.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Proactive and flexible approach to teaching adapting to varying student needs.
• High level of IT literacy and proficiency in utilizing educational technologies.
