Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detailoriented individual to join our team as an IT Recruitment Intern. This position offers a unique opportunity to learn about the recruitment process within the IT sector while assisting our experienced recruiters in sourcing screening and engaging with potential candidates. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology possesses excellent communication skills and thrives in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in sourcing and screening candidates for IT positions through various channels including job boards social media and professional networks.
  • Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates that match client requirements.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications availability and interest in specific roles.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and recruiters or hiring managers.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate candidate records in our applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Assist with drafting job descriptions and posting job ads on relevant platforms.
  • Support recruiters in administrative tasks such as email correspondence calendar management and data entry.
  • Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to share insights and contribute ideas for improving recruitment processes.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources Business Administration Psychology or a related field.
  • Strong interest in IT recruitment and talent acquisition.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detailoriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus.
