White Plains NY US
The Engineering Department at client is seeking a Senior Site/Civil Engineer to be based out of White Plains NY or Stamford CT offices. This individual will serve a key function in the design and management of a broad range of land development projects for both our municipal and private sector clients. The potential candidate will have the opportunity to work in an environment of encouragement and collaboration to help Client shape the future of the region.
Job Responsibilities:
Essential Requirements:
- 510 years experience.
- Bachelors degree in civil engineering
- Strongly prefer NYS or CT PE (or the ability to obtain the PE licensure within 612 months of hire).
- Experience with Westchester County Connecticut and/or local municipalities and agencies preferred.
- Must have a valid drivers license.
- Ability to manage and meet multiple deadlines.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D is essential.
- Proficiency in stormwater modelling (e.g. Hydro CAD Storm CAD AutoCAD SSA Flow Master etc.) preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Superior attention to detail and organizational ability
