Job Title: Databricks Architect

Location: Remote however candidate must be in PST/MST ONLY and MUST support in Australia East Coast Time Zone.

Duration: 12 Months

Years of Experience: 10 Yrs

Mandatory Skills:

• Databricks Spark PySpark Spark internals Spark tuning Delta Lake internals
• Banking or Financial experience is mandatory

Must Have Certification:

• Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional

Job Description:

• 10 years of consulting experience and 7years experience in data engineering data platforms & analytics
• Completed Databricks Data Engineering Professional certification & required classes
• Minimum 68 projects delivered with handson experience in development on Databricks
• Working knowledge of two or more common Cloud ecosystems (AWS Azure GCP) with deep expertise in at least one
• Deep experience with distributed computing with Spark with knowledge of Spark runtime internals
• Familiarity with CI/CD for production deployments
• Working knowledge of MLOps
• Current knowledge across the breadth of Databricks product and platform features
• Familiarity with optimizations for performance and scalability
• Excellent communication skills.
• Should be able to lead and manage project in addition to architectural responsibilities
