Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer proficient in Python to join our team on a fulltime basis. As an Automation Test Engineer you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software through automated testing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement automated test scripts for various software applications.
- Utilize Python programming language to create efficient and effective test automation solutions.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand project requirements and develop appropriate testing strategies.
- Implement BehaviorDriven Development (BDD) framework for automated testing.
- Participate in the software test automation process from planning to execution and reporting.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues to ensure accurate test results and identify areas for improvement.
- Automate testing for desktopbased applications ensuring compatibility and reliability across platforms.
- Utilize TestComplete and other relevant tools to enhance testing capabilities (experience with these tools is a plus).
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years experience in Automation Testing.
- Proficiency in Python programming language.
- Experience with BehaviorDriven Development (BDD) framework.
- Strong understanding of software test automation processes and best practices.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing testing and debugging scripts.
- Experience in automating testing for desktopbased applications.
- Handson experience with TestComplete and desktop application testing is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment with a focus on achieving project goals.
