Position: Xero Advisor Advisory Department

TPF Recruitment is representing a wellestablished firm of chartered accountants located in Hove. The firm has been providing expert advice to clients across Sussex for over 30 years and offers services across various departments including Audit Business Services Personal Tax Advisory Marketing and Admin.

As part of their growth they are expanding their Advisory team and seeking a new member to support their growing portfolio. Their client base is diverse focusing on different sectors and sizes primarily SME business owners and Finance Directors of domestic and international companies/groups.

As position as a Xero Advisor in the Advisory department.
  • Responsibilities mainly include management accounts bookkeeping and VAT work using Xero.
  • Direct engagement with clients and management of a regular portfolio.
  • Preparation review and submission of VAT returns.
  • Advising and supporting clients with cloud accounting software questions.


Requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum of AAT qualification.
  • Xero certification or previous experience in Xero and other cloud software packages.
  • Minimum of 2 years management accounts and bookkeeping experience with good VAT and CIS knowledge.
  • Strong technical and problemsolving skills.
  • Effective communication with team members and clients.
  • Ability to work accurately and analyse a range of financial information.
  • Strong work ethic and "can do" attitude.
  • Enthusiasm and ambition.

Essential Excellent verbal and written communication Ability to work as part of a team and independently Previous proven book-keeping experience in an office environment Numerate and analytical with excellent written and verbal communications skills Evidence of being a proactive, self-starter who can manage to change priorities in a demanding environment Intermediate/advanced Excel, Xero, Sage 50 Desirable Extensive knowledge of VAT
