About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payment Expert / Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this crucial role you will leverage your expertise in FIS/OPF (SEPA) ACI/UPF (Instant Payments) or Finastra/GPP (Crossborder) to analyze and improve our payment systems. You will act as a conceptual thinker capable of translating complex ideas into actionable practices serving as a reliable sparring partner for the Product Owner fellow business analysts and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and test complex applications to ensure they meet competitive market standards.
  
• Define and describe User Stories and perform thorough requirements analyses.
  
• Understand and solve complex business problems identify business/functional requirements and recommend optimal solutions through processes and systems.
  
• Collaborate with DevOps team members occasionally taking over their basic activities.
  
• Conduct data analysis and modeling to improve system efficiency.
  
• Manage a complex stakeholder environment ensuring effective communication and alignment.
  
• Utilize common integration technologies such as APIs Kafka and message schemas (JSON AVRO YAML).
  
• Employ Agile Scrum and DevOps methodologies in project management and execution.
  

Essential Skills:

• Proven expertise in payment systems such as FIS/OPF ACI/UPF or Finastra/GPP.
  
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a relevant field.
  
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with complex data analyses and models.
  
• Proficient in Agile Scrum and DevOps practices.
  
• Familiarity with integration technologies and managing complex software applications.
  
• Strong understanding of the banking domain financial products and business processes.
  

Desirable Skills:

• Programming and coding experience particularly in Java.
  
• Experience working with Linux OS and Oracle databases.
  
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps tooling and pipelines and AWS.
