DevOps Cloud Engineer 7374-2911

HM Notes: This hybrid role is three (3) in office.

Responsibilities:

Design build and support within the cloud environment.

Monitor and assess the performance of applications in a cloud environment to ensure solutions are available

Create developed enhancements test and implement safeguards to maintain data integrity and protect against unauthorized access

General Skills:

The resource is required for:

• Can assist the project team by providing technical expertise to support the Employee Workspace Reservation System (EWRS) platform.
• Enhancement Requests to support the continued development and implementation of changes required by the Office Optimization Division (OOD) and the GSIC Business Experience Practice (BEP).
• Knowledge transfer of the existing EWRS to the new BEP EMinistries.
• Assist in ongoing performance tuning and optimization of the EWRS platform post migration to GoCloud for 2 months.
• Verify the functionality and integrity of the transferred code and pipelines post migration.
• Minimize downtime and disruptions to the development and deployment processes.

• Strong mentoring and coaching abilities; ability to convey content design concepts and methods to team members

Technical Experience (60%)

Must be able to do the following for all the 3 environments (DEV UAT and PROD):

1. Design and develop changes to the existing functionality.
2. Create report
3. Ensure that the source code is moved without any loss or of data.
4. Migrate all associated pipelines and CI/CD configurations to the target organization and project.
5. Verify the functionality and integrity of the transferred code and pipelines postmigration.
6. Minimize downtime and disruptions to the development and deployment processes.
7. System Requirements Definition.
8. Azure PAAS and IAAS Services.
9. CI/CD using Azure DevOps.
10. Azure deployment models including VM Containers and App Services.

Must Haves:

Must be able to do the following for all the 3 environments (DEV UAT and PROD):

2. Ensure that the source code is moved without any loss or of data.
3. Migrate all associated pipelines and CI/CD configurations to the target organization and project.

5. Minimize downtime and disruptions to the development and deployment processes.
6. Information Modeling.
7. System Requirements Definition.
8. Azure PAAS and IAAS Services.
9. CI/CD using Azure DevOps.
