CNC Lead Machinist

Responsibilities:

• Review negotiate and administer contracts with government agencies including prime contracts subcontracts and modifications
  
• Develop and maintain CNC lathe & mill programs for a variety of parts and products.
  
• Train and supervise CNC Mill and Lathe operators.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve programming and machining issues as they arise.
  
• Help assist 2^nd shift Supervisor to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency.
  
• Maintain accurate documentation of programming and machining processes.
  
• Ensure that safety guidelines and procedures are followed.
  
• Maintain/repair CNC Lathe & Mill machines as needed.
  

Requirements:

• High school diploma.
  
• Knowledge of CNC lathe & mill Gcodes.
  
• Understanding machining fundamental techniques (feed & speed choice or proper cutting tools)
  
• A minimum of 5 years of experience of setup and operating CNC lathe & mill machines
  
• Strong problemsolving and troubleshooting skills
  
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  
• Ability to work well in a team environment
  
• Experience in a supervisory or managerial role is a plus.
  

Schedule:

Salary Expectations:

$25$30/ HR.
