Shift Notes: 40 hours guaranteed

Weekend Requirements: None

OnCall Requirements: Oncall 810 days per month including 4 weekend days (F Sa or Su)

Level II Trauma

From decreased recovery times and decreased costs to less pain and shorter (if any) hospital stays interventional radiology which uses radiological technology to perform minimally invasive interventional techniques is revolutionizing the way many health services are delivered.

• Acting as the first point of contact for referrals and patients
• Attending patient consultations
• Performing initial examinations and patient assessments
• Making recommendations to the referring physician the patient and the patients family under the guidance of the interventional radiologist
• Performing daily rounds and communicating patient progress to the medical staff and the radiologist

• 2 years Cath Lab experience REQUIRED
• Experience with heart caths PCI IABP insertions STEMI call IVUS/IFR and interventional radiology cases REQUIRED
• BLS and ACLS at time of submission REQUIRED
• 30 minute response time for call REQUIRED
• ARRT REQUIRED (RCIS will not be approved)

• Resume with all facilities listed
• Skills Checklist specific to the discipline (must be less than a year old)
• 2 supervisory references (completed within the last year)
• Active License (verification must be less than 30 days old)
• Certifications (must be active at the time of submission)

• ACLS (AHA)
• ARRT
• BLS (AHA)
