Data Scientist

We are looking for a dynamic person to join our inhouse team as a Data Scientist on a permanent basis. Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Data Exploration: Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns anomalies or significant structures in clinical data.
• Feature Engineering: Transform and engineer data features to enhance the performance of ML/NLP models using domain knowledge of clinical trials in drug and medical devices development.
• Model Training Validation: Continuously train validate and finetune models to ensure robustness and relevance. Implement crossvalidation hyperparameter tuning and other optimization techniques.
• Collaborative Projects: Lead crossfunctional projects collaborating with clinicians pharmacologists regulatory specialists and IT teams to ensure cohesive execution.
• Model Interpretability: Work on making complex models interpretable and understandable to nonexperts especially when results have significant clinical implications.
• Regular Updates: Conduct periodic presentations and training sessions for stakeholders sharing insights and educating on the significance and implications of findings.

Education Experience and Skills:

• PostGraduate in Engineering or Data Science or related fields with 02 04 years of relevant experience.
• Advanced Expertise: Mastery over a wide range of ML and NLP methodologies ensuring optimal model selection and implementation based on specific project requirements.
• Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of the clinical trials landscape including regulatory compliance data management practices trial phases and the unique challenges posed by the industry.
• Project Management: Demonstrated ability to lead complex datacentric projects from conception to completion liaising with crossfunctional teams stakeholders and external partners.
• Technical Proficiency: Expertise in popular ML/NLP frameworks and tools like TensorFlow PyTorch Scikitlearn and NLTK. Comfortable working with big data technologies and cloud platforms.
• Research Development: Track record of pioneering research initiatives that enhance trial outcomes patient recruitment strategies drug efficacy and medical devices predictions using ML/NLP techniques.
