We are looking for Dynamic independent ShortTerm Insurance Paraplanners who are based around the Helderberg area Cape Town who specialise in supporting clients with holistic financial solutions designed to save clients money gain greater benefits and build longterm wealth. The company provides Medical Aid GAP Cover Individual Risk Planning Buy & Sell Key Man and Partnership Insurance Investments Short/Medium/Long Term Car & Household Insurance Commercial Lines Insurance Estate Planning Wills & Corporate Employee Benefits and much more.

Skills required

  • Strong sales and Deal closing abilities

  • Knowledge of insurance related policies and legislation.
  • Proficient in Analytical math.

  • To Always remain fit and proper in terms of FCSA regulations remain honest and ethical and act within the interest of the business and the client.

  • Knowledge of financial terminology and procedures would be beneficial.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Generate 20 40 new business cases per month.
  • Servicing 20 clients per month
  • Update sales and sales board weekly keeping track of leads and ensure lead rollover is followed up monthly.
  • Grow you book by at least 20 cases and 10 signed intermediary every month.
  • Capture the clients details on Atwork and Smart Advice and follow up with outstanding clients daily on short term insurance.
  • Work effectively and efficiently with your team.
  • Paraplannning and preparation of documents including all compliance for salespeople.
  • Submission of all new business to the correct business processing departments.
  • Adhering to documentation titling saving and titling of communication within the organisation and being sent outside of the organisation.
  • Ensuring all cancellations are done for clients moving to our brokerage from another insurer and onboarding of new clients.
  • Servicing includes but may not be limited to addition and removal of benefits from existing policies and updating of information is key to ensuring correct risk is always maintained on the policies.
  • Recording information on Atwork or a relevant CRM.
  • Adhering to regulations set out by the FCSA OTSI and other regulatory boards.
  • Maintaining client information.
  • Annual reviews for Client portfolios
