Mobile Health Team Inc. a staffing agency has an opening for a MultiModality Technologist CT certified. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.

Location: Woodsville NH 03785

Assignment Start Date: 6/3/2024

13 weeks Evenings 8hour shift 40 hours per week

The Radiology Department can be relatively relaxed at times and at other times it is quite busy so it is safe to say that no two days are the same and our workload varies. Our work environment is supportive and positive although most of our work is independent our team is always willing to step in and help when needed. The team is quick to help transport patients close exams make phone calls and help out in many ways. The variety and the unknown of what we do make the day go by quickly and you find satisfaction in knowing your role was valuable in the patient care continuum.

Seeking a proficient multimodality Radiologic Technologist. The Ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and be selfmotivated while being compassionate empathetic and congenial.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greets patients explains procedures to patients answers their questions shows patients to the changing room and assists when necessary
  • For ED/med surg patients notifies nurse patient will be leaving the unit ensures they are unhooked from all monitoring equipment patient passport has been filled out by nurse for med/surg patients ensures they are appropriately changed for exam and have necessary ancillary equipment such as O2
  • Prepares exam rooms to receive patients and ensures the equipment is clean functioning properly and all supplies are readily available and ready for use
  • Prepares patients for exams including getting them changed as required removing items that could cause artifacts before imaging
  • Utilizes ALARA principles at all times performs all requested routine and specialty diagnostic radiology exams and shields every patient when possible
  • Produces diagnostic images with accurate positioning and optimizes image quality with appropriate technique selection
  • Closes out exams and sends images for interpretation
  • Monitors and stocks radiology supplies consistently check for expired items and performs necessary QC and documents when required
  • Knowledge of equipment maintenance requirements and follows shut down warm up and QC schedules as appropriate
  • Performs basic office duties including but not limited to answering the phone scheduling radiology exams accurately assisting with obtaining protocols ensuring prior authorizations are obtained when necessary sending images to other facilities and creating discs when requested
  • Performs necessary recordkeeping for sending images and scanning documents into PACS and EMR
  • Takes calls as requested and is always available/reachable during oncall hours. Must be within 3045 minutes of the hospital when oncall

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

Experience:

  • CT experience is required
  • Multimodality experience (preferred)
  • Excellent customer service and patient care required
  • Live within 30 minutes of the Hospital for OnCall (preferred not required)

Education:

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited program for Radiologic Technology.

Licenses Certifications and/or Registration:

  • Must possess ARRT (R) and (CT) or (M); ARRT CT certification preferred
  • A New Hampshire Imaging License is required
  • Valid BLS Certification is required

EMR System: Athena and Cerner experience desired

Shift: Sun Thurs evenings Weekend and call rotation (required)

Knowledge/Abilities/Skills:

  • Must be able to obtain and process quality images
  • Must be able to complete all required documentation and paperwork timely;
  • Must be able to prepare patients for examinations in a professional manner
  • Must be able to provide safe care based on the agespecific needs of the patient;
  • Must be able to interact with radiologists and diagnostic imaging team effectively and comply with protocols and procedures.
  • Must be comfortable working independently and have exceptional problemsolving and criticalthinking skills.
