As a Quality Manager in the Lithiumion Battery Industry you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our battery manufacturing processes. You will lead quality assurance initiatives oversee regulatory compliance and drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality management systems specifically tailored to the lithiumion battery manufacturing process ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Lead quality assurance activities throughout the battery production lifecycle including incoming materials inspection manufacturing processes and final product testing.
- Establish and maintain rigorous quality control measures to monitor critical parameters and ensure the consistency and reliability of battery performance.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate adherence to quality standards identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including R&D engineering operations and supply chain to address qualityrelated issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyze quality data and metrics to track performance trends identify root causes of defects or failures and implement preventive measures to mitigate future risks.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on quality standards best practices and safety protocols relevant to lithiumion battery manufacturing.
- Stay updated on industry trends technological advancements and regulatory changes related to lithiumion battery manufacturing and ensure that our quality management systems remain current and effective.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including customers suppliers and regulatory agencies to foster a culture of quality excellence and trust.
- Drive a culture of quality consciousness and accountability throughout the organization emphasizing the importance of quality in all aspects of our operations.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering materials science chemistry or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 10 years of experience in quality management preferably in the lithiumion battery industry or a related field.
- Indepth knowledge of lithiumion battery manufacturing processes quality standards (e.g. ISO 9001 ISO 14001 ISO 45001) and regulatory requirements (e.g. UN38.3 IEC 62133).
- Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE).
- Strong leadership and project management skills with the ability to drive crossfunctional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities with a keen attention to detail and a systematic approach to quality management.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
- Certification as a Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) is a plus.
