Job Description :

The Mechanical Designer will be responsible for the design of mechanical parts and assemblies (models production tooling prototypes etc.) and their product files while meeting functional machinability and reliability requirements. With the support of the engineer in charge and a senior designer he/she will develop the product file including all the information necessary for manufacturing. He/She will ensure that the manufacturing plans comply with current standards (for example: ISO2768 ISO 1101 ISO1302 etc.) and with internal procedures developed at SLB. The designers mission will be the creation and updating of plans for the development testing or marketing of the tool the creation and archiving of bills of materials and their promotion to Prototype or Commercial status in the PLM.
