Overview

Key responsibilities

• Conducting thorough patient assessments and medical histories to diagnose illnesses and conditions
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests to aid in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
• Developing personalized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical history
• Prescribing medications and therapies as appropriate for patients conditions
• Monitoring and managing the ongoing care and treatment of patients with chronic or acute illnesses
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and treatment
• Participating in medical rounds conferences and case reviews to discuss patient progress and treatment plans
• Providing education and counseling to patients and their families about medical conditions treatments and preventive care
• Conducting clinical research and staying updated on medical advancements and best practices
• Adhering to ethical and legal standards in healthcare practice and patient confidentiality

Required qualifications

• MD or DNB in General Medicine or equivalent qualification
• Valid medical license to practice as a General Medicine Consultant
• Proven experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions and illnesses
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
• Indepth knowledge of medical principles practices and ethics
• Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively in a fastpaced clinical setting
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
• Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities
