Maths Teacher Permanent FullTime

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Maths Teacher to join a thriving department within an outstanding secondary school in South London. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Maths Teacher (QTS) to contribute to the academic success of over 1000 students across KS3/4/5.

About the Role

  • Teach Maths across KS3 to KS5 following the National Curriculum.
  • Create engaging and stimulating lesson plans that cater to a diverse range of learning styles.
  • Implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress and inform future teaching.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the schools Maths curriculum.
  • Play a key role in the Maths department fostering a positive and collaborative learning environment.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the schools wider development.

The Person We Seek

  • A qualified Maths Teacher (QTS) with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring a love of Maths in students.
  • Strong communication interpersonal and classroom management skills.
  • The ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • A commitment to professional development and a willingness to learn new strategies.
  • Experience working in a diverse and inclusive setting is desirable.
