Tasks
- Review and edit content for accuracy clarity and style
- Collaborate with writers photographers and designers to create engaging editorial pages
- Plan and organize editorial content for publication
- Stay current on industry trends and competitor publications
- Manage a team of writers and editorial staff to ensure deadlines are met
Requirements
- Must have a bachelors degree in journalism or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in newspaper publishing or editorial work
- Strong editing and proofreading skills
- Ability to manage a team and collaborate with other departments
- Knowledge of current events and trends in the publishing industry
