Job Summary:

The Solution Architect is accountable for architecture and solution design for key bank initiatives hosted in a variety of environments while considering reuse scalability reliability and alignment with companys mission and strategy. You will lead the successful implementation of the proposed solution design by managing expectations and risks and ensuring appropriate organizational structures principles tools and responsibilities. The solution architect acts as a bridge between technical and business audiences during solution planning development and deployments.

Responsibilities:

• Builds a technology vision and strategy for a solution or business domain. Using a holistic approach conducts solution analysis design planning and implementation for the successful development and execution of strategy. Acts as the single point of contact (SPOC) between IT and the business for the solution.
• Collaborate with technology and business stakeholders to develop a solution design for an assigned business capability.
• Collaborate with Product Managers Engineering Managers and other Architects in shaping and aligning product roadmap and delivery of new features.
• Present complex technical proposals to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Conduct POC as needed to evaluate new technologies and approaches.
• Led the development team during solution implementation translating business requirements into technical language.
• Work across multiple projects with a variety of individuals and groups.
• Promote reuse through inner sourcing opportunities.
• Recognize industry technology trends and emerging technologies understanding how they apply to the company and drive adoption into the organization.
• Actively promote the mission of the company within the organization
  
  

• Bachelors degree in technology engineering or related field.
• 57 years of solution architecture experience: creating solution architecture and highlevel design documents solution decomposition into domains API design creating epics and stories for developers and managing the implementation team.
• Microservice design experience including RESTbased microservice API.
• A masters understanding of software design principles and excellent knowledge of major architecture patterns.
• Have a strong pragmatic approach to leading architecture and development solutions with a proven record in agile delivery. Deep experience in AGILE/Lean development methodologies
• Excellent knowledge and strong experience with AWS services.

• Good knowledge of containerization tools and technologies (RedHat OpenShift Docker Kubernetes).
• Strong proficiency with Java and Java frameworks (e.g.: Spring Springboot) SQL and NoSQL DBMS (e.g.: SQL Server PostgreSQL MySQL Redis MongoDB) procedural and objectoriented development.
• Good understanding of DevOps processes and CI/CD tools.
• Ability to work through ambiguous and openended business requirements and priorities and translate the same into a clear roadmap and definition of success.

• Ability to collaborate effectively and follow up to ensure achievement of deadlines outcomes and results.
