Job Description:
The role of Purchasing Officer is to ensure that the vessels workshops shipyards or other clients are supplied with authorized stores spares and other products in a timely manner and approved costs consistent with Company Quality and Purchasing policies at the most competitive costs.
Sourcing materials goods products and services and negotiating the best or most costeffective deals;
Coordinate and manage the progress and delivery of orders resolve any discrepancies;
Establishing professional relationships with clients as well as vendors and suppliers;
Conducting product research and sourcing new suppliers and vendors;
Documenting of all activities maintaining database up to date
