Overview:
The Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful planning execution and completion of projects within our organization. This position is essential for maintaining project timelines fostering effective communication and coordinating various project activities to ensure efficiency and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of projects to meet deadlines and budget requirements.
- Coordinate project activities resources and information to support successful project execution.
- Communicate effectively with project team members stakeholders and clients to ensure project objectives are met.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation such as schedules status reports and meeting minutes.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise to ensure project success.
- Organize and facilitate project meetings workshops and discussions to promote collaboration and problemsolving.
- Assist in risk management by identifying potential project risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
- Support the project manager in project planning scheduling and resource allocation.
- Act as a liaison between project teams management and stakeholders to provide regular project updates.
- Ensure adherence to project management processes and standards to maintain project quality.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by providing feedback on project processes and suggesting enhancements.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure necessary materials and services for projects.
- Assist in resolving conflicts and issues within project teams to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Participate in project evaluation and postproject reviews to identify lessons learned and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in business administration project management or related field.
- Proven work experience as a project coordinator or similar role in project management.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software such as MS Project Asana or Trello.
- Strong knowledge of project management processes techniques and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize tasks manage time efficiently and work under pressure to meet project deadlines.
- Problemsolving abilities to address project issues and develop effective solutions.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in project documentation.
- Experience in risk management change management and quality assurance within projects.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams and diverse groups of people.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of project budgeting costing and financial analysis.
- Adaptability and flexibility to adjust to changing project requirements and priorities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive project information with discretion.
- Certification in project management such as PMP or CAPM is desirable.
