Job Title: Process Operator

Location: Indianapolis IN 46254

Pay rate: $18.00 /Hr. On W2

Duration: 6 Months (Temp to Hire)

Shift hours 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

Note:

• Workers will be using a pallet jack preference for someone that has experience.
• Preference for industrial or manufacturing setting experience.

Position Summary:

• Entry level role that is working in a plant/factory.
• Performs a series of operations or tasks under close supervision utilizing documented work processes.

Core Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality.
• Check on equipment throughout the shift to ensure equipment is working properly.
• Reads and clearly follows processes that are required.
• Contributes to division results and performance.
• Takes care of internal and external customer needs and expectations
• Operate equipment specific to area such as:
• CARBON: Bag products samples and test; Manage spent carbon feed to reactivation furnace; Switch tank feed from tank to tank of spent.
• carbon: calibrate PH probes operate a filter press run facility wastewater treatment plant.
• REGEN: Sort bottles by size and resin; load and unload deliveries to

Position RequirementsFormal Education Required:

• High School Diploma or GED.

Knowledge & Experience Required:

• Must complete site specific safety training.
• Ability to communicate clearly with team members.
• Be able to follow and read instructions.
• Have basic math skills.
• Site specific requirements: CARBON: Be able to complete 40hour hazardous waste operations training.

Preferred:

• Some manufacturing/plant experience.
• Knowledge of computers.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to sit stand hear and see on a constant basis. Must be able to walk write and type on a frequent basis.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to climb and descend stairs.
• Must be able to bend carry reach push and pull on an occasional basis.
• Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing.
• May be exposed to outdoor weather.
• May work in areas where noise level is such that hearing protection is required.
• May be exposed to varying amounts of dust and dirt.
• Work surfaces may include concrete.
