In this role Physical Security Officers (PSO s) can expect to be working in demanding and fast paced environments. PSO s may find themselves working in a wide range of areas to include medical centers government facilities hospitality venues and public events. Additionally PSOs may be asked to work with a firearm. The PSOs mission is to protect all people information and property assigned while delivering on high end customer service. PSOs represent the front line of our security services.
Shifts Available:
- 11PM 7AM Saturday & Sunday & Wednesday (34 hours/week)
- 7AM 3PM Saturday & Sunday 6AM 6PM Thursday & Friday (40 hours/week)
- 3PM 11PM Saturday & Sunday (16 hours/week)
Job Duties / Essential Functions
Delivering high end customer service
Responding to emergencies
Deterring and preventing crime
Performing ingress/ egress control procedures
Investigating incidents
Completing daily logs and incident reports
Conducting regular walking or vehicle patrols
Building and Maintaining a professional rapport with clients guests and coworkers
Deescalating conflicts
Detaining suspects
Monitoring CCTV cameras
Performing other related duties as assigned
Requirements
Skills / Qualifications
- ACT 235 (current)
- Current and valid DL
- High school diploma or GED
- (1) year experience in armed security recommended
- Must be able to pass PAT and ASO course
- Must be able to pass drug screen
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient time management skills
- Reliable transportation
- Excellent deescalation skills
- Proficient firearms skills
- Extensive use of force knowledge
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background investigation urinalysis screening and OPS training requirements
