Sr Revenue Accountant USA Remote Ok - Public Accounting Exp Req

This is a remote position.

• Ability to read complex contracts/agreements and identify pertinent terms and issues in order to apply appropriate accounting guidance and propose solutions within the Company s revenue recognition policy and in line with ASC 606
  
• Assist with invoicing during peak sales seasons
  
• Provide advisory assistance to sales team and others within the organization with respect to product launches and new product offerings to identify and prevent revenue recognition issues
  
• Prepare and maintain monthly revenue and deferred revenue reconciliations
  
• Research monthly budgettoactual variances
  
• Partner with the Order Services team and provide guidance on entering sales orders for invoicing purposes
  
• Work closely with the external auditors regarding all applicable annual audit requirements
  
• Partner with other departments to complete monthly reporting package for Board of Directors review
  
• Coordinate and perform detailed analysis for the annual standard selling price review
  
• Prepare ad hoc revenue reports/analysis utilizing NetSuite and SalesForce when needed
  
• Assist with monthly commission calculations and related reconciliations

Requirements

• Certified Public Accountant (preferred)
  
• Master s degree in Accounting
  
• 24 years Public Accounting experience
  
• Experience working with accounting systems e.g. SAP Oracle NetSuite (preferred)
  
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses
