Responsibilities

  • Plan prepare and deliver engaging Physics lessons that follow the schools curriculum guides.
  • Assess and monitor student progress providing timely feedback on their academic performance.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking.
  • Support and guide students in their academic and personal development providing appropriate pastoral care.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching methods and resources.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians providing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns.
  • Participate in faculty meetings professional development sessions and other school events as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Physics or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Physics education.
  • Experience teaching Physics to secondary school students.
  • Familiarity with the national curriculum and examination boards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of a diverse student population.
  • Dedication to continuous professional development and keeping uptodate with the latest teaching practices and methodologies.
