Responsibilities

• Plan prepare and deliver engaging Maths lessons to students
• Assess and evaluate student progress providing constructive feedback and support
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and educational resources
• Keep up to date with the latest teaching techniques and strategies
• Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress and achievements
• Participate in staff meetings professional development sessions and school events

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Education or a related field
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience teaching Maths in a primary or secondary school setting
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and relevant teaching resources
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with students parents and colleagues
• Good organization and time management skills
• Passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering students academic success
