About the role

Working in a distributed team across Europe brings its own challenges but the Luxury sales team takes group spirit and team building seriously as they virtually meet brainstorm and hold social activities on a regular basis.

Weekly catching up as a team and on an individual basis to tackle challenging cases or to align on the overall sales strategy. Besides the immediate team they will share and approach sellers with our Experts and work on managing large accounts with our Customer Experience team.

A Key Account Manager is responsible for the realisation of the commercial targets in the assigned territory. You will play a key role in developing the right set of existing sellers to maximise our and their revenue:

What youll do

Growth management

  • Identify existing sellers in your portfolio with a high growth potential and create a growth strategy to reach maximal results.
  • Look for new business opportunities in your territory using insights from your seller portfolio.
  • Move in sync with Business Developers to nurture newly handed over sellers to continuously grow the territory

Key Account Management

  • Analyse Top Sellers KPIs and act accordingly.
  • Grow and retain an extensive book of business through upselling relationship building and targeted communication by monitoring and analysing KPIs.
  • Create negotiate and roll out winwin commercial agreements between Top Sellers and Catawiki.
  • Move in Sync with Category experts to bring the right kind of supply from our Top Seller base.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with the Top Sellers in your portfolio.
  • Team up with key internal stakeholders to provide our Top Sellers the best possible help and service to grow.
  • Proactively suggest and follow up on opportunities for improvement to internal stakeholders.
  • Keep track of activities and agreements through CRM tool.

What youll bring

  • You have a passion for sales and have a minimum of 5 years experience in sales.
  • You have excellent communication skills in German and English.
  • You are capable of using Google tools (sheet slides) and data we are a datadriven company.
  • You excel at communicating in person via video over the phone via email and across teams.
  • You have a strategic perspective.
  • You are skilled negotiatior.
  • You work autonomous and organised.
  • You have a Master/Bachelors degree with sales experience. Your degree is Commercial Economics or Sales related.
  • Capable of using sales CRM Hubspot is a plus.
  • You have a passion for the luxury industry so that you are able to understand the language of our sellers.

Where youll be

The role is based in Amsterdam or Germany with a hybrid working arrangement. You will be part of the Luxury department and will be working for our DACH and Northern Europe market.

Our offices and way of working

We have sensational offices in Amsterdam Groningen Paris and our newest office in Lisbon. Most of our employees are within commutable distance of one of our office locations and enjoy a hybrid work model. This means we expect you to be in the office 2 out of 5 days roughly 40% of your working time to collaborate and connect with each other. The exception is of course if the job description specifically states that the role is 100% remote as some experts and sales positions are.
