Role: Bookkeeper

Location: Albuquerque New Mexico

We are seeking a detailoriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our clients team on a temporary basis for a period of at least 3 months. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records reconciling accounts and supporting the overall financial management of the company. This role is crucial in ensuring the financial stability and success of our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Record financial transactions in accounting software.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate financial records.
  • Prepare and process invoices and payments.
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts.
  • Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reports.
  • Track and manage accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  • Generate financial reports and assist in budget preparation.
  • Monitor and maintain financial documentation and records.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with the financial team to resolve financial discrepancies.
  • Support audits and financial reviews as needed.
  • Perform other related tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problemsolving abilities and a proactive approach to financial issues.
  • Associates degree or relevant certification in accounting or finance is a plus.
