Responsibilities:
Geotechnical Site Investigations:
Conduct and oversee geotechnical field investigations including soil and rock sampling drilling and insitu testing.
Analyze site conditions to assess geological and geotechnical factors affecting project feasibility and design.
Engineering Analysis and Design:
Perform geotechnical analyses and design for foundations slope stability retaining walls and other geotechnical elements.
Utilize geotechnical engineering software and tools for accurate and efficient analysis.
Report Preparation:
Prepare comprehensive geotechnical reports summarizing site investigations analyses and design recommendations.
Effectively communicate findings and recommendations to clients project teams and regulatory agencies.
Project Management:
Manage and coordinate geotechnical aspects of projects from initiation through completion.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and effective project delivery.
Client Interaction:
Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and responsiveness.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients during project development.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil Engineering Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
Experience:
Mid to seniorlevel experience in geotechnical engineering including project management responsibilities.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in geotechnical analysis software and tools.
Strong foundation in soil mechanics foundation engineering and geotechnical design principles.
Professional License:
Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 1 year required.
Professional Geotechnical Engineer (GE) license is a plus.
Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely.
