5 days x 8hr shifts for 1 week; alternate

Nights: MonThu; Once every 4th week until Feb & Once every 5th week beginning Mar
Weekends: FriSun; Once every 4th weekend until Feb & Once every 5th weekend beginning Mar
Call Type: Beeper
Call Ratio: 1:45
Patient Volume: 12
Rounding Included: Yes
Physicians in Practice: 2 neurosurgeons
Whom the APC will work with and support for clinic call & surgical purposes.
Duties:
Surgical first assist; bedside procedures; rounding independently in all hospital units including NICU PICU Peds ICU (surgical and medical) and general med/surg floor.
Hospital and ER/UC consults; clinic duties including outpatient consultations postoperative/posthospital patient care fracture care patient phone calls medication refills and FMLA documentation.
Trauma Level: II III
EMR: Cerner
Temporary Privileges Available: Yes
Travel lodging and malpractice insurance covered
Requirements:
BC/BE
BLS
Full time with ongoing availability
Must have recent Neurosurgery experience including surgical cases.
