- Description: RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement the companys procurement strategy to align with business goals and project requirements.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within the procurement.
- Source evaluate and onboard suppliers and vendors of landscaping materials equipment and services.
- Negotiate contracts terms and pricing with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and cost savings.
- Oversee inventory levels and demand forecasting to prevent shortages and excesses of materials.
- Implement inventory control measures to optimize stock levels and reduce carrying costs.
- Coordinate the transportation and distribution of materials and equipment to various project sites.
- Collaborate with logistics partners to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
- Establish quality standards for materials and ensure adherence to them by suppliers.
- Monitor and inspect incoming materials to ensure they meet specifications and quality requirements.
- Identify potential procurement risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
- Monitor external factors such as market trends regulatory changes and geopolitical events that could impact the supply chain.
- Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals providing guidance and support in their roles depending on the project size.
- Foster a collaborative and resultsdriven team environment.
- Identify opportunities to integrate sustainable practices into the procurement such as sourcing ecofriendly materials and reducing waste
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field.
- Proven experience (5 years) in procurement preferably in the landscaping construction or any related industry.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
- Excellent negotiation communication and interpersonal skills.
- Can communicate in Arabic and English.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make datadriven decisions.
