About the Role:

As a Science Teacher you will play a pivotal role in inspiring students curiosity and passion for Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 (ages 1116). You will be responsible for:

• Delivering engaging and stimulating Science lessons that adhere to the National Curriculum.
• Creating a positive and supportive classroom environment that fosters a love of learning.
• Developing and implementing a comprehensive Science curriculum in collaboration with the Science department.
• Effectively assessing and monitoring student progress to ensure their academic development.
• Providing guidance and support to students both within and beyond the classroom.
• Actively participating in departmental meetings and contributing to the ongoing development of the Science curriculum.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Science (or a relevant Science subject)
• A minimum of two years successful teaching experience (or strong ECTs with demonstrable potential)
• Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Science education
• Strong teaching skills with the ability to create engaging and interactive lessons
• Effective classroom management skills
• A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
