Operational accountabilities include: • Co-ordinate system enhancements to CROAMIS with IT service providers by analyzing business requirements to ensure improvements within QAS Cargo business processes. • Co-ordinate testing of system releases, updates and fixes with external stakeholders such as government agencies, end customers, Oracle Financials and Operations departments in order to confirm they are in line with the business requirement. • Provide post implementation system support to all new projects initiatives ensuring adherence to all standard systems and operational work flows by the QAS Cargo Operations team. • Interface with external parties like Government authorities and Airlines to ensure requirements of interface design between CROAMIS and customs single window 'Al-Nadeeb' are up to date. • Investigate and provide feedback to any system related queries by government agencies, end customers, QAS Finance and Operations teams or Management. • Escalate system issues to relevant IT support teams as and when required. • Escalate system issues based on impact to business with relevant technical support teams and follow-up for post incident analysis of the issue. • Provide system vendors with the prioritized list of system defects and incidents based on priority defined by the Cargo system support team • Liaise with Network, Electronics and Desktop Support teams to meet the need of constant support for the different IT equipment used in operations, such as Wi-Fi and 3G handheld scanners, telephonic equipment, Tetra radios and daily desktop support. • Plan and supervise periodic audit of IT equipment, audit of user access levels to cargo applications are solely based on business requirements and audit of telecom plans to ensure appropriate voice/data plans are subscribed to for operations teams. • Assist business support team in development and implementation of KPls and reports ensuring to automate the data collection through Cargo systems. • Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department Be part of an extraordinary story Your skills. Qualifications The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and skills: • High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 3 years of job-related • Experience in cargo automation processes and messaging functionality • Experience in first level cargo systems/automation support • Experience in handling detailed cargo data transmission protocols • Experience in working with automated warehouse system • Knowledge of IATA IMP messaging • Proficiency in MS Office programs • Able to work under tight deadlines • Managerial skills
