Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess patients physical condition
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Implement therapeutic exercises and activities
• Utilize physical modalities and manual therapy techniques
• Monitor and document patients progress
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and exercises
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
• Manage and prevent musculoskeletal conditions
• Assist patients in regaining mobility and strength
• Recommend adaptive equipment and devices
• Participate in patient discharge planning
• Stay updated with advancements in physical therapy
• Ensure compliance with legal and professional standards
• Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment

Required Qualifications:

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Previous experience in physical therapy
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques
• Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create and implement effective treatment plans
• Empathy and patience in patient care
• Proficiency in using therapeutic equipment
• Understanding of medical recordkeeping and documentation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to continuing education and professional development
• Physical stamina and dexterity
• Adherence to ethical and professional standards
• Knowledge of insurance and reimbursement policies
