Job description: Model Based Development
Department: Vehicle Dynamics and Performance
You will:
In the Performance vertical of the department we look after various vehicle performance related features like acceleration top speed riding modes range drivability etc. A closed loop simulation cum analysis is required between battery motor and vehicledynamics subsystem. A senior engineer for battery and motor related algos would be working as a developer as well as guiding the existing engineers in the Performance vertical.
You must have any or a combination of any of the following skills:
- Develop various vehicle (battery motor etc.) subsystem model in a simulation environment and validate it with the real system.
- Develop system and control models in MATLAB/Simulink.
- Responsible for development of various vehicle performance related features algorithms which sit on BMS and motor controller from the simulation environment to validation on hardware/vehicle.
- Develop battery and motor control software design concepts in support of system requirements.
- State flow based development for various Body Control Module logics.
- Create technical documentation i.e. concept documents system functional and design specifications technical specifications and test reports for all designs
- Interact with other teams (battery motor vehicle dynamics etc) to develop various algorithms collaboratively.
- Software development using various code generation tools (preferably C/C)
- Working on future projects like traction control aggressive regenerative braking
- 3years experience
- Experience with Matlab/Simulink
- Engineering field: EC EE EI Electrical
- A confident and effective problem solver and decisionmaker whilst working under pressure
algorithms,matlab,simulink,algo,controls development
