Operation Engineer - Solar Power Solutions

Job Overview:

We are looking for an Operation Engineer for one of our clients who is a leading Solar Power Solution provider.

As an Operation Engineer you will be reporting to the Head of Project & Services and you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and management of the projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Single Point of contact for clients for planning & communication of project details.
• Work crossfunctionally with Business Development Operations & Purchase/Stores teams to ensure smooth delivery of products and services to the customer.
• Overseeing the smooth functioning of the Sales Design & Business Operations teams for carrying on solar photovoltaic installation activities.
• Preparing equipment layout diagrams to position various components of the solar system keeping in line with the design presented to the client during the sales procedure.
• Client Relationship Management to get new referrals for future sales.
• Reporting status to clients & management on a periodic basis in the specified format.
• Following up with vendors like fabricators civil contractors electrical contractors etc to ensure prework associated with the site is completed as per industry standards.
• Following up with clients for payments based on the stage of completion of the project.
• Ensuring complete handover of site to service team after installation of the system.
• Keeping abreast with the latest developments in the field by attending solar conferences exhibitions training doing online research and reading research publications.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum BE/Diploma in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical
• Should have 23 years of similar experience.
• Sound knowledge of Civil Construction fabrications and basic electrical.
• Preferred male candidate
• Should own a vehicle.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
