Job Description

  • We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Optometrist to join our team.
  • As an Optometrist you will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services to our patients including conducting eye examinations diagnosing and treating visual conditions prescribing corrective lenses and educating patients about proper eye care.


Requirements

  • Perform comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and eye health.
  • Diagnose visual conditions such as myopia hyperopia astigmatism and presbyopia.
  • Detect and diagnose eye diseases such as glaucoma cataracts macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy.
  • Prescribe eyeglasses contact lenses and other vision aids as needed to correct vision problems.
  • Provide treatment for common eye conditions and diseases including prescribing medications and recommending appropriate therapies.
  • Monitor patients eye health and vision changes over time adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educate patients about proper eye care practices including the importance of regular eye exams protective eyewear and maintaining overall eye health.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals such as ophthalmologists and primary care physicians to coordinate patient care and referrals as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records including examination findings diagnoses treatments and prescriptions.
  • Stay informed about advancements in optometry practices technologies and treatments through continuing education and professional development.
