Tasks

• Add your valuable perspective as a materials engineer into the assessment evaluation and supervision of the manufacturing processes
• Analyse deviations in material manufacturing and develop corrective measures
• Participate in the qualification of material suppliers
• Support various engineering departments in material selection using internal and external material databases
• Research material for future applications in the field of turbomachinery
• Collaborate with internal departments such as quality assurance design calculation and procurement

Requirements

• Successfully completed studies in the field of materials engineering (metallic materials) metallurgy or equivalent degree
• Initial professional experience in materials engineering desirable
• Knowledge in areas such as steels Nialloys Alalloys casting forging corrosion and ultrasonic testing
• Ability for analytical thinking and independent learning in new subject areas
• Excellent English language skills in writing and speaking
• Willingness to travel
• Team and communication skills
