Python Developer for a Tour Planning Tool

oneLake was founded in Dortmund in 2021 and today consists of a team of 15 data artists and code tamers. We strongly believe in a world where access to data should not only be reserved for data scientists and data engineers but also for those trying to make datadriven decisions

Tasks

• Develop and maintain Python codebase for the tour planning tool.
• Implement algorithms for routing optimization considering factors such as distance time and truck capacity.
• Integrate external APIs or libraries for geospatial data and visualization.
• Collaborate with other team members to gather requirements and implement new features.
• Write clean efficient and welldocumented code.
• Test and debug code to ensure high quality and reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience (X years) as a Python developer with a strong understanding of Python programming language and its ecosystem.
• Experience with algorithm development and optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with geospatial data processing and visualization libraries (e.g. GeoPandas matplotlib).
• Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with optimization algorithms such as nearest neighbor genetic algorithms or ant colony optimization.
• Familiarity with the cloud platform and services in MS Azure
