At Flower we operate our Digital Power Refinery Platform also known as a virtual power plant (VPP). To our digital platform we connect to and control a vast pool of generation consumption and storage assets from largescale industrial facilities to decentralized energy resources which we optimize to produce the most benefit for the electricity system both locally regionally and systemwide. We are currently expanding the team and entering an exciting phase of launching our solutions in new European markets. We have 5000 EV chargers and the capability to control various energy sources with our software. Currently our primary focus is on batteries along with solar and wind energy sources. Were the engineers behind the scenes crafting applications that run seamlessly in the cloud and on IoT devices. Our mission: to control monitor and optimize our devices and system ensuring a reliable and efficient operation.

Role Snapshot: Software Engineer
As a Software Engineer in our team youll be at the core of Flowers system shaping the way our assets are controlled and our system is monitored. Your responsibilities are key to our success.

• Develop and maintain cloudside Python applications for realtime monitoring ensuring we fulfill our market obligations.
• Contribute to the development of new features in both cloudside and IoT applications broadening our asset control capabilities.
• Craft applications enabling seamless access to flexible asset data for all Flower teams.
• Champion testing and CI/CD processes ensuring robustness and efficiency.

We operate in a dynamic SCRUMbased environment valuing collaboration and crossfunctional involvement through daily standups and collaborative task discussions.

Ideal Candidate Profile
Were seeking a candidate with a strong engineering background someone who thrives in the cloud software development realm. If you resonate with Flowers mission to accelerate the energy transition and possess the ability to navigate vaguely defined tasks with enthusiasm youre the perfect fit.

MustHaves:

• Proven professional experience in cloud development within a team.
• Proficiency with git and Python.
• Exceptional problemsolving skills and a solutionoriented mindset.
• A degree in a relevant topic

NicetoHaves:

• Familiarity with AWS cloud services (CloudFormation Greengrass IAM S3 etc.).
• Experience with microservice architecture.
• Startup experience and background in the energy sector.
• Exposure to languages/protocols like SQL MQTT Modbus IEC101/104.

Location
We love to see each other in the office but understand that sometimes you work better from somewhere else. We would like you to be able to work from the office most of the time but we are flexible with remote work occasionally. Our office is located at Sder Mlarstrand 21 a couple of minutes walk from Gamla Stan subway station in Stockholm.
