Role Title: iOS Developer

Duration: EOY 2024

Work Location: GOVO in US or Nearshore Onsite *(In US preferably in Mountain View CA or Atlanta GA & Nearshore can be Mexico or Brazil)

Work Schedule: Normal PST business hours

Project Overview:

Our team provides user interface components and guidance for 80 Googleowned iOS apps. As part of this work our team is responsible for addressing customersubmitted feedback and bugs related to our components and guidance. Resolving these issues in a timely manner is part of an ongoing servicelevel objective (SLO) of our organization.

Overall Responsibilities:

Your role will be to resolve bugs as efficiently as possible both as part of an existing backlog of 50 open issues as well as new issues as they come in at a pace of 20 / quarter.

This role requires familiarity with both Swift and ObjectiveC as our code base uses both languages. Most critically you will need to have a solid understanding of UIKit and iOS platform norms in order to resolve many issues. You should have existing familiarity with UIKits best practices and norms.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:

1. Triaging new and open issues.
2. Delivering technical solutions and changes to address the issues.
3. Working with our centralized testing infrastructure to ensure that the landed changes do not cause unexpected regressions.

Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:

• 4 years of experience with ObjectiveC and UIKit
• 1 years of experience with Swift

NonEssential Skills/Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience with large legacy code bases
