Overview

The General Manager also known as the Head of Operations plays a pivotal role in the organization overseeing all aspects of the companys operations to ensure efficiency profitability and customer satisfaction. This position is crucial in providing strategic leadership and direction to the operational teams fostering a positive work environment and driving the achievement of organizational goals and objectives.

Key responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing operational strategies and initiatives to maximize efficiency and productivity
  • Overseeing and managing daytoday operations of the business
  • Setting and achieving operational goals and objectives
  • Leading and directing operational teams to ensure high performance and employee engagement
  • Monitoring financial performance and budgetary compliance
  • Identifying and resolving operational issues and challenges
  • Collaborating with other department heads to ensure seamless coordination and communication
  • Implementing and maintaining quality control standards
  • Assessing and mitigating operational risks
  • Developing and optimizing operational processes and procedures
  • Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing feedback
  • Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Representing the organization in meetings events and industry forums
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with key stakeholders
  • Contributing to the development and execution of the overall business strategy

Required qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in related field; Masters degree preferred
  • Proven experience in a senior management role with a track record of successful operational leadership
  • Demonstrated expertise in operations management process improvement and strategic planning
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting and forecasting
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven ability to lead motivate and develop highperforming teams
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to drive operational decisions
  • Thorough understanding of industry regulations and standards
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to innovate and drive change
  • Proficient in relevant software and tools for operations management
  • Experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Exceptional problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
  • Proven track record of delivering results and meeting targets
